Who has read Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland? Perhaps one of you can answer this riddle for me. Do you recall the passage where Alice is at the tea party with the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, and the Dormouse? At one point the Hatter pops the question: Why is a raven like a writing desk? After several pages, Carrol gives the answer - well there is none! At this point most of are thinking, oh Lewis Carroll, I didn't see that coming. But inevitably you're still left wondering, well, alright, but I still want to know why a raven is like a writing desk. Is there really no answer? I feel robbed by this, as if there should be an answer.

Iain! I nearly forgot to show you what I bought on Sunday. Meet Mozart Bear, I bought him for you. Oh and look! I bought Daddy a silly hat to wear. I also have this charming Austria pin if you would like. And of course we could not leave Austria without acquiring a cuco clock! I think it would be perfect in the guest room, or even better in your room! To the rest of you, what is your favourite souvenir that you have bought while on this trip? I think mine is this matching pair of wooden beer drinking Austrians. I think that they are wonderfully delightful and will go nicely on Iain's dresser at home.

You try to show concern for someone and people ask "why?" I never thought I had to give an answer. I don't bloody know why. I just - this is stupid. I hate James Potter, and I hate olives and I am sick. I hate being sick. Did I mention I also hate olives? I want some more plums.

I dislike this trip very much. Muggle medicine tastes awful and I do not think it even works. I can't breathe, coughing hurts, why isn't my medicine working? Iain, this was the stupidest idea you have ever had. Muggle medicine. I don't even have the comfort of my own bed! This bed is far too soft. I want to go home right now. Is there a way to get sent back home?
